The minus partial order is already known for complex matrices and bounded linear operators on Hilbert spaces. We extend this notion to Rickart rings, and thus we generalize some well-known results.

Ela Decomposition of a Ring Induced by minus Partial Order
The minus partial order linear algebraic methods have proven to be useful in the study of complex matrices. This paper extends study of minus partial orders to general rings. It is shown that the condition a < b, where < is the minus partial order, defines two triples of orthogonal idempotents, and thus, a decomposition of a ring into a direct sum of abelian groups. Hence, several well-known re...
متن کاملOn Rickart modules
Let $R$ be an arbitrary ring with identity and $M$ a right $R$-module with $S=$ End$_R(M)$. The module $M$ is called {it Rickart} if for any $fin S$, $r_M(f)=Se$ for some $e^2=ein S$. We prove that some results of principally projective rings and Baer modules can be extended to Rickart modules for this general settings.
متن کاملSome External Characterizations of SV-Rings and Hereditary Rings
In ring theory, the notion of annihilator is an important tool for studying the structures. Many characterizations and structure theorems can be derived by using this notion. On the other hand, certain classes of rings (e.g., Baer rings and Rickart rings) are defined by considering annihilators ideals. In the present work, we introduce a class of rings which is close to the class of Rickart rin...
متن کاملOn the Spectral Theory for Rickart Ordered
RO-algebras are defined and studied. For RO-algebra T , using properties of partial order, it is established that the set of bounded elements can be endowed with C-norm. The structure of commutative subalgebras of T is considered and the Spectral Theorem for any self-adjoint element of T is proven.
متن کاملA KIND OF F-INVERSE SPLIT MODULES
Let M be a right module over a ring R. In this manuscript, we shall study on a special case of F-inverse split modules where F is a fully invariant submodule of M introduced in [12]. We say M is Z 2(M)-inverse split provided f^(-1)(Z2(M)) is a direct summand of M for each endomorphism f of M. We prove that M is Z2(M)-inverse split if and only if M is a direct...
